Lawyer Dr. Roland Hoffmann is part of our Public Law/Administrative Law unit. The focus of his work is, among other things, on gambling and sports betting law as well as data protection law.
Short Portrait
As a long-time research assistant at the Professionship of Public Law, in particular European and International Law of Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Weiß at the German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer, Mr. Hoffmann also deals with numerous European law issues and problems. He is particularly interested in German and European public economic law. Mr. Hoffmann completed his doctorate under Professor Weiß on a topic in the field of European energy law.
Dr. Hoffmann studied in Heidelberg and subsequently obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in European Law at the University of Liverpool. He was admitted as a lawyer in 2011.
