Karsten Königstein’s practice focuses on public law, in particular European and constitutional law.
Another focus of lawyer Mr. Königstein is gambling and catering law. Here he concentrates primarily on the special questions which can arise in the context of the granting of gambling hall permits. Furthermore, Mr. Königstein devotes himself to the topic of “Installation of gambling machines in restaurants” and advises restaurateurs on the important administrative requirements that must be observed and fulfilled in this regard.
Mr. Königstein studied law at the University of Saarland in Saarbrücken, where he graduated with honors. Mr. Königstein also completed his university specialization in European law with distinction. Mr. Königstein completed his legal clerkship at the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Saarbrücken, the District Court in St. Wendel and the Administrative Court of the Saarland.
