Civil Service Law

We specialize in representing both civil servants and service providers in all matters relating to the civil service relationship, from its establishment to its termination.

Whether it is a question of obstacles to the establishment of a civil servant relationship (e.g. due to an upcoming or already completed medical examination, entries in the certificate of good conduct) or issues in the existing civil servant relationship (such as transfer, secondment or reassignment, promotion and competitor action, claims to allowances, secondary employment, overwork, prohibition of the conduct of official business) or the termination of the civil servant relationship (e.g. due to early retirement due to incapacity or dismissal from the probationary civil servant relationship).

Disciplinary proceedings occupy a special position. They are often stressful and of great importance for both the civil servants and their employers. Our Civil Service Law Department has extensive experience both in defending civil servants in disciplinary proceedings and in advising employers who have to conduct disciplinary proceedings. If the alleged misconduct is also connected with a criminal offense, the defense in disciplinary proceedings is always carried out in cooperation with an experienced criminal defense lawyer, so that the best possible protection of our client’s interests is ensured.
